REFLECTIONS + EXPECTATIONS : el MAFREX Reflects on the best and sad parts of his 2012...

el Mafrex is one of the very first artistes hyped on Gospel City Naija when we started out. Right before he got his MOBO nomination, he was the most popularly viewed artiste in The CiTy. We also followed him through the year, giving you regular updates from his camp.
Today, el takes time out to reflect on his 2012. He makes some remarkable pointers that will interest you.

2012 has been a great year for me, Lord I'm so grateful for all you did for me, my friends and family. The year started with the release of my song "Jehovah" ft. Royal Foundlings, and the video had over 500,000 hits in its first 5 months... My mum gave birth to twins who are separated by 6 weeks, I got nominated for the SNMA in 3 categories, and bagged 2 on the night.

While I was recovering from the SNMA I got nominated for the MOBO Awards (Official), where I met and mingled with some great music stars.

God has been awesome, my song "Jehovah" got to 38 on the itunes UK music chart for Gospel. He confirmed his word upon my life that wherever the sole of my feet threads upon he's given me as a possession.
One sad note, my management deal with my Big friend Ian Purdie ended yesterday(31ST Dec 2012), but I'm so grateful for all we accomplished together. Thank you guys for supporting me and my music... Bring on 2013. God bless ya'll......
