We came across him on hulkshare. He had his track featured on hulkshare as one of the recommended songs on their front page with over 3600 downloads. According to his manager/brother, the song has been up there for two months now.
we had to reach out to him and we did.
We hooked up with him and got to know a lil more about this sensational gospel act. His track, "Only Praise" is currently rocking the airwaves in Lagos and accoring to him, " Lagos appreciate secular music more...they barely admire gospel but my songs are storming the radio stations right now"
He further opened up that he started out with Frank Edwards back in school but had to concentrate on his studies rather than do music.
Within two months of dropping his gospel singles, Inyene is already getting billed for performances and his songs are recieving nods from different quarters.
" I recently sang in Port Harcourt and the crowd went wild. I also sang in a church recently and the pastors were impressed and paid me double my charge", he chirped.
Obviously, Yene is set for 2013. With such a good start, we can only imagine how his music ministry will play out.
Inyene is a young talented gospel artist who hails from Akwa Ibom state. He has a diploma in mass communication and resides in Lagos State. He is very spiritual and loves to be in God's atmosphere. His role model is pastor Chris Oyakhilome whom has been a father and inspiration to him over the years.
