When describing the song, Tony said;
"...Thematically, the word control is very strong and deep. A lot of things as well as people try to control us. We in turn sometimes obliviously end up controlling people in the bid to control things. Being in/under control isn't a bad thing depending on who and what you give the right to control you. Gba Control is a song to help you dance and draw from the abilities you have inside of you. It also tells you about the one to whom you can give the control of your life to, for your own good. "
Originally from Rivers State Nigeria, but a true son of Lagos, Anthony Adoki has been a praise and worship leader for over 14 years.
An innovative singer, songwriter and more importantly worshiper, he aspires to lead people into the presence of God, anytime he ministers. His vast experience includes work with several renowned gospel artists and groups in Nigeria, including the group Grace Vibes, the Cynergy band, and Tosin Martin.
An avid lover of music, Anthony sings and plays with his own band at various events including but not limited to musical concerts, weddings, and various celebrations. He also ministers weekly at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David.
