NEWS + HYPE : GospelKulture Magazine set for Debut

Indeed, the number of gospel resources is on the increase in Nigeria. Here comes one of such. Recently, we spoke to a young remarkable bloke called PITA and he told us about a lifestyle magazine that is set to revolutionize the gospel scene in Nigeria and around the globe.

Aptly called GospelKulture, the publication is an online platform that promises to give verve to the spread of the gospel through creative and engaging content. He took time out to tell us briefly about the publication and later forwarded a press release to our mail box.

PRESS RELEASE
When it comes to talent within the music Industry, Nigeria has more than its fair share of dynamic artists and musicians, representing an array of genres within Gospel music, from hip hop to gospel soul, Jazz, rock and the list is endless and so is the number of fans and supporters within the industry.

Each week there are events and shows drawing an impressive number of fans and seekers of God through music across Lagos and Nigeria. With this teeming number of incredibly talented and multidimensional acts, it is needless to say that In no time the Nigerian gospel industry will soon explode into the International platform in par with some of its most admired artists from the United States.

In preparation for this we aim to bridge the gap between Nigerias Gospel scene and the International platform. With this potential in foresight, GospelKulture is birthed on this hypothesis. The vision was birthed in November 2012. The name Gospelkulture stems as a hybrid of two words: The Gospel and culture. In propagating the message of the gospel through music, we envision the gospel as a culture for people from walks of life to engage in.

GospelKulture is an online hub site for gospel Artists, musicians and fans. Content is geared towards bridging the gap between the artists and the fans, providing a one stop hub for news information, covering shows, concerts, events, interviews and blogs, posting photographs of artists and their fans on both the national and international platforms, with focus on linking Nigeria to the global gospel platform, in particular the UK Gospel Industry.

Here at gospelkulture we are strong believers in positive engagement and dialogue between the artists and the fans, hence building a strong and loyal fan base and encouraging positive word of mouth advertising for the artists and the industry, our slogan of get to know: The Artists, the fans and the music is derived from this notion. Our website is channelled towards user participation and engagement. The site is intended to be run by Artists participation themselves for the their market ' The fans'
