NEW + MUZiK ::: Fortune Abel - Raise You High

Here is a brand new music from ‘Fortune Ebel’  titled “Raise you High”.  This song is best defined as a gospel hip-life jam with the basic twist of a Congolese music. In my opinion . Brace your self for praise at another level and get your dancing shoes on because this one is in a class of its own.

Fortune Ebel is a trained singer and he is into the Gospel music fulltime. He hails from Uzere in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria and he is the fifth child amongst seven children. He has been singing for well over a decade as a back up singer and this he did for many lead singers – the most recent being for the Ron Kenoly Brothers when they visited Nigeria in December, 2012.

 Artist Profile

Fortune Ebel is a trained singer and he is into the Gospel music fulltime. He hails from Uzere in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria and he is the fifth child amongst seven children. He has been singing for well over a decade as a back up singer and this he did for many lead singers – the most recent being for the Ron Kenoly Brothers when they visited Nigeria in December, 2012.

Officially, he commenced his exclusive music ministry/career on Sunday, the 18th of March, 2012 and he leads a group of young, talented and willing personnel who make up the TEAM- MELODY CITY {MC} & KINGDOM REALM {KR} – both of which he was inspired to create.  MC is the Music Label while KR is the name of the Crew that minister directly on stage. So far, they have recorded few songs, some of which are currently on the MTN and GLO callers tune bouquet in Nigeria.

As a trained singer and lyricist, he describes the pattern of his music as “simply cosmopolitan”.  He writes/composes new songs as well as sings the old ones because he believes that most of the old songs GUIDE the writer who writes new ones to RETAIN the message of the Gospel, while the new songs breathe RENEWAL on the old ones. He is a Gospel music singer who loves and has a great measure of respect for the plethora Gospel music Ministers that are both in Nigeria and abroad and together with his TEAM,
he has a VISION to ADD to the Universal Church, songs that shall become legacies for many generations to come.

  3. A friend of mine was playing this song in his car and I thought it was another hit from sammie okposo until my friend asked me to download same song from gospel city naija. I collected raise you high from my friend into my ipad and the more I play it, the play I play it. That's NO typo-error. Please who is fortune ebel? The profile said nothing about where he's currently based, where he currently worships, single or married etc. Great song in my opinion. Selah.

  11. Raise You High is not tribalistic as most of the Nigerian songs have now been; with some major tribes of the country dominating the Nigerian music which should be all embracing. According to the composer's profile, I pray that this song is carried as a legacy from generation †o generations of the church of christ. Thank you

  13. Fortune Ebel's "Raise you high" is surely a song to listen to over nd over again.the chorus sticks to you heart and follows you wherever you go like a sweet smelling savour. Fortune is the next blow to happen in the Gospel music industry in Nigeria. Keep the flag high boss!

In a time where one buys four cds from four different gospel artistes only to discover you actaually one cd instead of four because the songs are recircled. This song is innovative, inspirational, transgenerational and it will go very far. It has become my every morning tonic. Indeed Fortune Ebel has moved beyond clout to have class. On this premise I recommend this song to every lover of good music. EruohiBISHOP from Warri.

  19. Is it posting comments that makes a new song come alive and stays-put? Statistics show that a lot of singers are directly but in disguise responsible for the post that are attached to their works and I still dont understand why? Then this one further carries a cliche - the now trendy "shando"; a word that is not found in the english encyclopedia, thus making one wondering why added as if it's patterned to the circular songs that are vastly branded with a word or phrase which offed end up being the success of such song. Little wonder why manner good song like this one have not being able to stand the acid test and stay-put simply because they were not allowed the natural growth that every true songs thrives upon †o excel. Wishing the author of raise you high God's blessing.

    1. So in essence what are u trying to say, that the shando spoiled the song or the singer is promoting himself?

      Delete
  20. Mr imah, you got ♍e wrong! All am saying is we should do do more of the downloads and play same on our radio stations. As good as this song is, it can die here cos songs dont survive by posting comments online. As for the shando (which am not against) the public can be informed on the meaning so that none is misled. Maybe you can tell us the meaning. I am not against the song, but the mode of publicity adopted to drive it to the public and know that all we do is for Gods glory, ok? Thanks. Peter

  41. Sammie Okposo is a Deltan, he sand wellu wellu and we all understood; kefee is a Deltan, she sang branama and it was void of any ambiguity. From his profile displayed by the owners of this blog, fortune ebel is also a Deltan. Why are all the "Shando" frontiers arguing when they are either unable to explain this or are they just not willing to say the meaning? Mind you that am not @ all against this good song; all I need and ask for is clarification and if those pushing against this can't give that, why not just stay on their lanes and let us all air our mind without being bitten...

  44. @ Peter Amekaimen, in my opinion, I think there are over a million good things about this song in terms of the quality lyrics and mature music than the shandO thing that I noticed (from other posts)is causing rift here. While I agree that the shando can and should be explained to make things easy for everyone, it is not that waord that should be the basis for rating this neat production and those commenting in support of the shando also have their right to so. Persoannly, If I sing this song, I will add the shando but that is not to say you must. By the way, the one thing missing here is the producer of this work. It's sounds like a Wole Oni...judging by the song Igwe which he produced for mnc. Shola Praise

Let us just enjoy our lives and have no beef with anybody.

  48. I mean I never intended to stay on this blog till now. Now some who call themselves Christians are already abusing and hissing here. If this is all this song brings, then God help us all. 58. Shando!!! Greestings to everyone here! I was told that shando is causing rift here and took interest in coming to see. I am called Bishop KC; not church Bishop and am sure shando is just a tongue and not a slang. Let there not be quarrel but let us engage ourselves with learning and singing the song if you think it is good enough. So akonuche is needed to be applied

  59. Reading all these makes me laugh and I hope nobody is now getting addicted to this space as am sure gospel city are already happy this is keeping their wall boozing. Well, if the secular singers can adopt certain words eg azonto, etigi, etc and we all christians sing and dance to these tunes, wht stops us from rallying round a gospel artiste who spend is hard earn money to record this song? If we all posting comments here stop and start using shando in real life, at least it will b good it is not from the circular people. We can decide to vote if evryone who has comment here agree to it. We can vote whether the shando is good to be adopted out there or not.

  99. "Everything that we have Lord we give as a living sacrifice." Now that's powerful both expressionally and rhythmically. Getting over 100 comment on a song to me suggest a huge interest and potential of acceptance this song may really have. I couldn't help but add my comment. Thumbs up 2d artiste and hope we hear from You than this. Dare Aluko, Ikotun Lagos State

  102. Reading many of the comments already posted here just makes me worried about the fact that Pater raised a very serious issue and many just laughed it off. What is Shando???????? Then, is the name Abel of Ebel. I see these two in his profile.

  103. This Guys song sounds like flavour's song Shake Uku O! Has anybody compared both? Especially the guitar and drum things. Our gospel artistes are so quackish that all they do is copy from here and there. Oshee!

  104. Seriously, so some now add phone numbers and even PIN to their comments. What's the rational behind this gesture?

  105. Great Great Praise song we've got here! Wow! Although I could not and would really love to hear the words Fortune said at the beginning as it was not added to the lyrics given online. The written lyrics seem not to be 100% correspondence with the sang lyrics as I have used both; but overall, this is one BLAST and so ON POINT! Kudos, Fortune Ebel

  112. Thank GOD for those who give themselves to God to be used for the edification of God's Saints around the globe. Raise You High certainly was given by GOD who inspired Fortune Ebel. Stay glued to God your source all your life and watch Him send you to many nations with the Gospel (through the songs you sing).
