Maranatha Christ Fest! We at Gospel City Naija are excited to introduce you to the most promising annual gospel festival that holds in the UK. Some time this year, we spoke with the event's young vibrant and quite resourceful 'spokeslady', Sophie Fey, and the way she talked about it made us keep our fingers crossed.Today, we are proud to introduce this event on Gospel City Naija and implore you to be part of it as it has been scheduled to hold mid next year in the UK. Maranatha Christfestival is a free concert and a platform for all upcoming and existing pure Gospel artistes to come together to perform live in concert.
It is an avenue to reassure gospel artistes that going into partnership with God is rewarding and most importantly, spreading the word and letting people know there is power in praise. This event was designed by New Trends Entertainment. This has been on for the past three years and is held in Edinburgh Scotland.
This event has featured so many award winning artistes since inception. To every prophesy their is a promise. This concept is to create an atmosphere for all Christians to socialise and spend time to unwind in the presence of God. We get drunk too as Christians under the anointing of serious praise.
Testimonies still abounds since 2010 , which was the first concert that was held. 2012 was an epiphany and we look forward to 2013, we eleven artistes will be performing live in concert.... It is going to be wholesome, because its going to be more of a gospel carnival.
The sole organiser of this event Ms Lola Ajiwo is looking forward to the upcoming maranatha which is 6th july,2013. So are many other Christians round the globe!
