CiTY LiGHTS :::: Sola Soetan arrives Nigeria, set for Album Release on 25th August

Before making his trip back to Nigeria, this amiable and gifted son of God hinted Gospel City Naija that he was set to  arrive the shores of his fatherland. He also hinted us on a couple of projects/platforms he would be engaged in.

He is described as the young man with the golden voice; others esteem him for his ability to move audiences. However these talents find their greatest expression because of His Love for God.

Sola Soetan is a man with a heart that ticks for God. He is also quite a big plus to music production as he returns from the UK with the wealth of knowledge he garnered in music production.

Back in the UK gospelscene, he is hailed as one of the most celebrated and influential worship leaders to emerge from the African church sector in recent years. He

heated up the church circuits with his energetic sound and colourful mix of contemporary and African praise and worship with a style so diverse, he appeals to every preference.
Already back in Nigeria, Mr. Soetan has swung into action and what better way to start it all off than to invest his time, skills and money into impacting the live of very tender and young Nigerians through mentoring and giving very professional music production to the kids.

He did this via a program called REEL KIDS Season II put together by Ink Marks Initiative. He and J'odie ( 'Kuchi Kuchi') were part of the facilitators that took the kids on song writting/song production.

Sola Soetan is no gimmick; "I did not call myself" is a statement he commonly relies on for expression. Obviously, this is the basis and pivot of his activities and the godly fruits he bear are a testimony.

 

This Sunday, 25th August 2013, he will be releasing his brand new album titled "God of Heaven" in Lagos at Virtues Christian Center, opp Fela shrine, Alausa, Ikeja by 10am. This release will also come with a tour around various cities in Nigeria.

Do well to attend the event and meet Sola Soetan one on one. As earlier said, he is indeed a worthy addition to the  gospel/morally-sound music scene in Nigeria.

SOLA SOETAN is a critically acclaimed singer,songwriter,producer,vocal coach and Church Music consultant.
As an artist he performs primarily gospel music and a bit of crossover songs because he's convinced believers are meant to influence the world with their giftings.
He recently finished studying Music production at the prestigious Pointblank music school london.
He also served as the Music Director and Woship team leader of Christ Church,Plumstead whilst studying in the Uk. 

 

Sola Soetan has been singing since the age of ten and started singing professionally and organizing his own concerts since the age of 19.
He has played various concerts,music events and tv shows at the local and international level.
He has worked and voluntered  as consultant and music director at several churches and  musical organizations in Nigeria and has provided vocals and lyrics for jingles and commercials e.g Insight communications(a foremost advertising firm in Nigeria).
Sola soetan can play the keyboard
and has extensive experience in songwriting and arrangement.
He has been part of several album and single production projects for several artists.

Sola soetan has received several awards for his song writing,singing,worship leading and creative enterprising skills. He holds a certificate in creative enterpreneurship from the prestigious lagos business school,a programme that's an initiative of British council in partnership with University of Glarmorgan,UK.
