They are back and right straight on point. The triumphant triumvirate take up another issue that has received dodgy assumptions from industry buffs. This week, Thr3e dig into the Money Factor and how it stagnates/flourish the growth of the gospel music scene. This time they do it with a guest that came in as a fourth wheel. Her name is Yele and she's a gospel artiste. Balanced, right?
A release from them states thus: "You know how these days, free music downloads are dropping every day and any song with a price tag becomes weird! You also know of how Christians rush to fill up secular concert halls, paying hundreds of thousands to attend, but will rather demand that a gospel artist throws a free concert...Besides, its for the Lord, right?
And oh yes! Do you know about the music producers who are asked to charge close to nothing because the recording artist wasn't 'monetarily appreciated' the last time he featured at a gospel event (so now he too doesn't have money for studio session)."
Thr3e take a look at the Nigerian Gospel Music industry & this is done with none other but a rising gospel act: YELE
