Its about time! Last month, we officially unveiled an urban gospel movement called BLESS THA MIC from our stables. The movement has spread across South Africa, Zambia, the UK, the US, Ghana, Nigeria etc with various gospel rappers, comedians, spoken word poets sending in entries to join.
While still seiving through the entries and accepting some of the topmost picks, we have partnered with a frontliune gospel entertainment outfit based in Port Harcourt (Nigeria) , DOPE BEYOND RAP ENTERTAINMENT to bring you the first ever freestyle cypher from BLESS THA MIC.
According to the CEO of DBR, Chinedu OKoye a.k.a D.O.P.E da Raptivist, a venue has been picked for the cypher and it will be a recorded f4reestyle session of some of the top gospel rappers from Port Harcourt. A tentative date has been fixed for this and will be announced early next week with the venue and other details.
