I call this a deceit from the pit of hell. a spirit of the end time; not white nor black. these types of situations are more dangerous than an openly evil situation.
In the kingdom that we belong to, the Kingdom of light. everything is plain and clear. it's either a platonic brother-sister relationship in Christ with no strings attached, or a brother-sister relationship, also in Christ but heading towards one destination, MARRIAGE. we don't have girlfriends and boyfriends just for the sake of having them. it's either leading towards marriage with both parties COMMITTED to it, or nothing. Anything more than that is what scriptures call 'an appearance of evil', a breeding ground for sin, hurt and pain. i'm not apologetic about this. there's so much lie today, and i'm not ready to be politically correct, Jesus wasn't either.
Can't we see, as the contemporary church, that these new age thinkings are doing more harm than good? Unknown to us we are busy having fun and entertainment, thinking we are worshipping and serving God, but heading towards HELL. Jesus said, and I paraphrase, "if you must follow me, take up your cross." Christianity is still about the cross. That simply means there are some inconveniences along the path of righteousness, which we must live with. Contemporary thinking and ideologies wont change that.

The world creates a show, we copy
They create beats, we imitate
They start fashion trends, we follow
They formulate ideologies, we adapt
They launch a slang, we chant along
They begin a rave, we join the wave
And we say we are the light of the world, and salt of the earth - Supposed trail blazers ???
It then follows therefore that when they are depressed, we also will. When they are confused, we can't be any different.

We can't expect different outcomes, when we employ worldly means of living.
God is calling out for some LIGHTS, and SALTS. Those who don't miss the world they left behind. Those who are proud to stand up for Jesus, and are okay.
Those who celebrate their uniqueness; making a difference by being different.
