NEWS + INTERVIEW ::: Theodora ' The King's Daughter' Speaks about working with Supa Dupa producer, Dare David, on her hit single, 'Ko si isoro''

We did an exclusive iNTRO on her sometime ago and we introduced her as The King's Daughter. Indeed, the name has stuck on. Her name is Theodora and she's set to premiere her hit single, 'Ko si isoro'.

We listende to the song amd must say, it is quite an inpressive hit that you should look forward to having on your olaylist. Already premiered on radio stations, the song is gathering verev and like we said, is said to be premiered online.

Here, we bring you excerpts from an interview we had with The King's Daughter and she tells us more about the song right before its official premiere.

Hi Dora. Good to have you here. We understand you are doing the official premiere of your single, Ko Si Isoro'soon. Tell us about it.

I wrote the song when I was trying to make sense of everything. Even the song itself is a story on its own. It was created in 2010 at OJB's studio in Lagos. Half way into the production, something came up so he had to leave it unfuinished cos he was made a Judge on Star Quest. So, with my hallf-completed siong, I went back to Malaysia and sat on it till 2012 when I met another producer called Dare David. We both had a chemistry in the studio but outside the studio na another matter

*laughs* 

Ko si Isoro works because Dare and I truly tried for that song. I tore it to pieces and only left OJB's chorus. Dare David pitied this girl and gave the song a good beat. The song talks to me first before it even starts talking to any other person and I know people, especially Nigerians, need to hear Ko si Isoro so thats why I wont rest till it has gone round the country.

You said you and Dare Davide had chemistry in the studio but not outside..***clears throat****

Working chemistry oh! Abeg oh! For instance, the vamp at the end of the song just came up out of the blue while we were in the studio and he was playing the keyboard...I have worked wih lots of producers...some don't inspire you like that...they even kill your song...

Seeing that you are both single, so no working biology since the studio chemistry was that good...?

Lolzz...only working chemistry please...outside the studio was a lot of quarrel. I wanted the song to be more up tempo but he insisted that it stayed the way it is... I wanted a live version but he couldnt make time for one...etc etc..But the creative process was very good.

Okay, cool. Inoticed the song sounded well rounded and I must say, quite impressive.

So tell us about your oncoming album.

Hmmm... It will be ready by the end of this year by the special grace of God.

Alright. By the way, what should people expect from the song when it finally drops?

They should expect to catch the 'Ko si Isoro' fever. They will want to listen to it over and over again and every single time, it will teach them something new.
