Samuel Dixon is ready for the premier of his single, "God No dey Camouflage". The Port Harcourt based gospel artiste who was unveiled some while back on Gospel City Naija resolved to release the song on June 12...Quite a remarkable day in the Nigerian Political landscape.

Yes, the date has some political undertones. Mr. Samuel Dickson didnt beat about the bush here. He comes out clean on the issue and says it as it was.

Speaking to Gospel City Naija, the music minister agreed that:
"June 12 is a politically tense date in Nigeria. Presidential elections were held in Nigeria on 12 June 1993, the first since the 1983 military coup. The result was a victory for Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola of the Social Democratic Party, who defeated Bashir Tofa of the National Republican Convention.

However, the elections were later annulled by military ruler Ibrahim Babangida, leading to a crisis that ended with Sani Abacha heading a coup later in the year. They played ojoro, wayo and camouflage but this JUNE 12 2103...Some good is coming your way........we are reclaiming that date by letting people know that GOD NO DEY CMOUFLAGE like them.... Its the OFFICIAL NATIONWIDE  RELEASE of my very first Official single...GET READY TO SHARE THIS SONG....LETS RECLAIM THAT DATE....... "
