GUEST BLOGGER + TIPS FOR GRACE & PROGRESS :: 5 Ways To Forgive

Yes, it hurts real bad when people hurt us. We often tend to hold this against the people that hurt us. TRUTH is, we need to learn to let go of these hurts. We need to learn to FORGIVE.

Forgive, yes, we know it always isn't easy but if we know what we benefit when we truly forgive, then we'll rapidly let go of those open and concealed hurts and move on.

Here, Pastor Micheal Simone gives helpful insights aimed at helping us forgive.

Now is the time to forgive and start living a happier, freer life. Reach the next level in your relationships with these 5 Ways to Forgive, When trust is broken, boundary forgiveness will help you heal and guard your heart at the same time. Boundary Forgiveness

When trust is broken, boundary forgiveness will help you heal and guard your heart at the same time.
There's a time to forgive an offense that happened years ago, but while the relationship strengthens, boundaries are needed in order to re-establish the bond.

Faith Forgiveness

Faith forgiveness is based on God's character and not the changefulness of human nature. This type of forgiveness says, "I don't feel like forgiving this and I don't even want to forgive this, but I believe God's going to get it all sorted out at some point."

 Process Forgiveness

This works over a longer period of time and is usually associated with a deep hurt.
We have to remember that we're human and sometimes it takes the heart a while to heal. If you're willing to peel back the layers, there's power and depth on the otherside.

 Reset ButtonForgiveness
It's better than having an "Easy Button"...press the reset button of Grace instead. This type of forgiveness style ties into what Jesus meant when He said to Peter: "Seventy-seven times." Resetting is the easiest way to quickly get through all the little things that come up in life.

 Solo Forgiveness

And this one may be the hardest of all, but most important. You must learn to forgive yourself. Deal with yourself truthfully, allow God's Grace to remove the guilt and regret of yesterday. Freeing yourself through this will allow you to free others and strengthen future relationships.
