TOUR + UPDATE : Midnight Crew Thrill South African fans in ongoing World Tour, Speak to Gospel City Naija

Last weekend, we got a beep from the much-loved gospel quartet, Midnight Crew, and it was largely about their ongoing World tour.
South Africa just got listed in the World Tour diary of Nigeria's leading faith-based singing group, earning the quartet a new level of recognition and respect.
With a vision to tear down the walls of religion through music, Midnight Crew is surely putting the praise of God on the lips of all.
Performing songs from their four albums since the inception of the group, Midnight Crew proved racism and tribalism wrong as mixed nationalities of the South African nation sang along in admiration.

Their all time classic,"IGWE" caused a strange godly fire through the land, unifying South Africa in praise to the creator of mankind. Songs like Kene Jesu, All Power, Turn it Over, So good, So Worthy and Next Fuji Thing from their albums including the latest "KING OF NATIONS" kept thousands of people responding to the joy that radiated from the several ministrations.

Six weeks, fifteen appearances and a hectic media tour in South Africa causes one to envisage brighter future for the amazing quartet.

Beautiful place, interesting people and with fantastic facilities to desire, South Africa will host Midnight Crew's fifteenth year anniversary in a world class live recording concert come 2016.

Gospel City Naija spoke with the amiable Mike Abdul and he gave us a few pointers.

Hello sir. Tell us about the tour...

This tour is about the Gospel, presenting it in a different dimension and from the viewpoint of singing done by people from another land.
Midnight Crew see it as presenting a singing bible from the viewpoint of West Africa to the people of South Africa.

That's great. This literally makes Midnight crew gospel ambassadors of sorts to west Africa. Are there plans to spread this beyond south Africa?

Yes there are.On our return to Nigeria, we only have two weeks at home before we move to the U.S for an eight weeks tour. Next year will see us do U.K and Europe.Cameroon, Ghana and Australia are also knocking.

We wish you God's grace in abundance as you spread the gospel through this platform. God bless you.

Amin
