This music is a beautiful piece that takes you into a rather rustic and sombre mood as you soak in lyrics delivered in each of the singer's native tongue and yes, in English as well.
Titled 'Iyanabo', the song is a cry for mercy and is superbly delivered by both artistes. If it was a piece from Nollywood, its summation would go thus: In this epic must-listen, Princess Joy George (Afrikan J) and the crown Prince Freke (Freke Umoh) make melodious pleas to God for mercy upon the land, especially their motherland. Recording the song was one experience the artistes wont forget in a hurry. They both bonded with the producer and every other person in the studio and the result of that bond is this amazing sound that has nudged its way into our gospel ever green Play List.
As earlier said, the song is sang in the singers' native languages - in Okrika by Afrikan J and in Ibibio by Freke Umoh. However, the artistes did throw in some English lines so those who don't understand any of the languages wont get lost in the rhythm.
