Yesterday, 17th July 2013, was a special day for us in Gospel City Naija and indeed a superbly special one for our Chief Admin Officer, Mr. Philip Asuquo, as he added another year to his age and received felicitations from all over the world.
Mr. Asuquo received a horde of felicitations via phone calls, bbm updates, facebook posts, tweets, emails, text messages etc. Gospel music artistes, record label owners, bloggers, OAPs, producers, music video directors, as well as a whole lot of people showed their love for him by putting up his pictures on their social media platforms and sending out commendations directly to him and to their contacts.
A special song was also put together for him by two of Port Harcourt's top gospel rappers and this song was premiered across different platforms. The felicitations poured in from all over Nigeria, the UK, Zambia, US, Kenya, etc.
Speaking today,Mr. Asuquo said "Firstly, I want to thank God Almighty for his banner of love over my life. I really do appreciate the soul-stirring love shown to me by my friends, family, colleagues, visitors of www.gospelcitynaija.com and even persons I never knew until yesterday. The stories shared with me by these special friends and their prayers humbles me. I thank God for everything and I pray for God's blessings upon the lives of everyone that celebrated with me on that special day. I pray God's ease and grace over every life...God bless you."
